As Arne metamorphs into his Bear form, the focus remains on damage, while adding strong offensive support through Decrease DEF and crowd control via AoE Provoke and A1 Stuns. The Provoke comes from his A2, extending to a two turn duration against bosses such as the Magma Dragon and the Head of Decay, while also applying Strengthen to the team and Counterattack to himself.
This makes Arne effective at shutting down enemy waves, key PvP targets, and specific bosses, all while sustaining the team and creating repeated opportunities to Stun enemies through his A1 when they attack him. This loop of control can be extremely frustrating for opponents to break. As an HP based form, scaling his HP is crucial not only for survivability and damage, but also to ensure his debuffs become irresistible against enemies with lower HP than Arne.
His Decrease DEF is applied through the A3, which deals individual hits rather than true AoE, allowing it to bypass AoE damage reduction passives. This skill also ignores a big portion of enemy DEF and places an extra hit against bosses or enemies under Stun or Provoke. Arne remains immune to Freeze, Stun, and Provoke in this form as well, with enemies attempting to apply these effects instantly triggering his A3, adding further pressure through retaliatory damage.
